Who this is for
This service suits founders, online sellers, creators and small businesses who want a name, logo or slogan registered with the USPTO and want a person to call along the way. You can file a trademark application yourself, and our guide on hiring a lawyer or filing yourself says plainly when that makes sense. Most people who come to us want the description, the class and the deadlines handled by an attorney.
If your business is outside the United States, the USPTO requires you to be represented by a US-licensed attorney. Our page for applicants outside the US covers that case.
What is included
- A free check of your name against USPTO records, before you pay anything.
- An attorney review of your name, your goods or services and the class they belong in.
- Preparation and filing by a US-licensed attorney named in your engagement letter.
- Status updates and deadline tracking until the mark is registered.
- A call or an email to a real person at each step.
What it costs
The total has three lines. Our filing price is $499. The USPTO fee is $350 for each class, and it appears on its own line. Search and deadline tracking are included, so they do not appear as extras. A description of your goods or services that falls outside the USPTO's pre-approved wording can cost more, and we tell you before we file if yours does.
The full breakdown is on the pricing page. For how the cost is built up and what to ask any provider, read how much it costs to trademark a name.
How long it takes
Recent USPTO data for fiscal 2025 shows about 5.6 months from filing to a first review, and about 11.7 months to a final outcome. An objection or an opposition makes the process longer. We cover the stages in how long a trademark takes.
If your application needs more work
Filing is the start of the process, and some applications need attention afterwards. We handle those steps too, each for a flat price shown before you agree.
- Office action response, when the examiner raises an objection.
- Statement of use, for filings made before the mark is in use.
- Trademark renewal, for the filings that keep a registration alive.
- Abandoned application, when a deadline has already passed.
