Pricing
One price. The government fee is in it.
You see the total before you spend anything. The USPTO sets its fees and can change them, so we confirm the current fee when we talk.
Your total, itemised
What is included
- A free check of your name against USPTO records, before you pay anything.
- An attorney review of your name, your goods or services and your class.
- Preparation and filing with the USPTO by a US-licensed attorney named in your engagement letter.
- Status updates and deadline tracking until the mark is registered.
- A flat price for responding to a USPTO objection, quoted before you agree.
How the USPTO fee works
The USPTO charges one fee for each class of goods or services in an application. A filing for one class carries one USPTO fee, which is $350. Each additional class adds its own USPTO fee.
The USPTO sets its fees and can change them. We confirm the current amount when we talk, and the total we quote shows the USPTO fee on its own line, separate from our price.
| Line in your total | Who sets it | How it is shown |
|---|---|---|
| USPTO fee | The USPTO, one fee per class | Its own line for each class |
| Our filing price | Us, one price for the work | One line |
| Search and deadline tracking | Included | Listed as included, not as an extra |

Questions about the price
What if I need more than one class?
Each class adds its own USPTO fee, which is $350 per class. We show each class on its own line, so you see the new total before you agree.
Are there extra charges for the search?
No. The search of USPTO records and the deadline tracking are included in the $499. They are listed as included, not as extras.
When do I pay?
After we talk and you agree to the itemised total. You pay once for the filing. We do not charge a subscription.
What if the USPTO objects after I file?
The USPTO may send an office action. We quote a flat price for the response before any work starts. Call or send your details for the quote.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in some cases. We refund our fee in full if you cancel before we begin, and in part if you cancel before we file. The details are in our terms.
